Dear athletes!
I sincerely greet the participants of the 25th European Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics. It has already become a good tradition to hold large-scale competitions in rhythmic gymnastics in Azerbaijan.

This is an index to fast development of sports and Olympic movement in our republic, as well as becoming of Azerbaijan one of the world’s sports centers. Rhythmic gymnastics is rapidly developing in our country. The 6th place of our gymnast in an individual program and the 7th place of a group team of Azerbaijan at the Olympic Games in Beijing – is a major achievement. I think the National Gymnastics Federation’s multilateral activity, its cooperation with international organizations, holding of the World and European Championships at the highest level in Azerbaijan is bearing its fruits.

I am sure the 25th European Championships in rhythmic gymnastics will also be organized at the highest level, its participants and the capital’s guests will have a good recollection of our country.
